Supporting AU workout

Drove to AU at 4 with Leah B and met up with Joya B and Coleen(dive/swim MIP). jogged nearly half a mile from car to track and then did a mile run around the track at a pace that dropped from over 8 to under 8. Did drills and a few striders on my own as I was considering doing my own workout and ...why not. It is good for me. When the girls were finished warming up tonight, I decided to pace them to the goal of 6-8 400s at 1:45 or faster. Workout went impressively well with the three of them running between 1:43 and 1:45 for just about all of them, and the last 3 were the fastest, including some 1:41s, I think. Cooldowns were generally between 1:45 and 2:00 with a couple stretching beyond 2 near the end. Took a full lap recovery after #4. Jogged back to the car for cooldown where I encountered Rachel Risoleo walking with Emilia Kaslow-Zieve on her phone. Got to catch up with the two of them for a few minutes which was awesome.
