to, at, and from practice

Comments:
Leah asked for the car for the evening, but agreed nicely to drive me to practice. I opted to jump out at Conn and Cumberland. Ran through Soapstone Valley to Peirce Mill. Oversaw warm-ups and chatted with Abe Doroshow. Ran with a mellow group down the bike trail and into the zoo tunnel. Turned back and accompanied Simon Loftus on a run he'll likely remember with a pair of walking breaks. Finished solid and after some planks, leg lifts, clams and stretches, I helped Abe fix his bike and run home via Soapstone with Abe along nearly to the top of Audubon terrace. Pressed on solo, until 30 seconds later I encountered Berenson and Finn on a walk. Walked with them for a bit and then finished alone at a decent clip, seems like I was between 7:30a nd 7:40 pace along Reno without much effort. Right hip/lower back has been increasingly tight over the past week, although it has been noticeable after the last "adjustment" in mid June. Speaking of that adjustment, my "bruised?" rib on the left side is significantly improved, finally. I don't know if it is the strength work, the easy past 36 hours, or the fact that I've had a solid month of training, but my legs were feeling strong on the run home from practice today. 13 minutes to practice. 29 min at practice. almost 18 home from practice.
