Lapping the Carmel Valley Tracks

January 8, 2010 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
The run for only the most awesome and attractive!
This run requires endurance, speed, excuse-making abilities, desire, strength, dirt track capabilities, guts, will, a willingness to represent two different religions, a willingness to endure loving yells, and at the end passion.
Anyway, it was in order a lap at Cathedral, CCA, messing around at the Jewish Academy, lap at Carmel Valley, and Torrey Pines.
The long lull between CCA and the Jewish Academy was definitely the low light, but we persevered. The run was a good hanging out time and was also very good for my body.
Using that last sentence as a transition I will now mention a few things about it:
1- The long run today was again, just what it wanted.
2- The sometimes achy things (ankles, knees, elbows) are doing their jobs.
3- The lower back is something I will get looked at at some point, because after long down hills and such it aches.
4- I added 2x150 after the run. Because they lacked any sort of quantity, they were pretty much worthless.
5- I am fairly anxious about tomorrow’s 12 miler especially b/c I am just no heading to bed (12:44), but I had important business to attend to (a good story for a very, very long run).
