Weather: Warm, nice sprint weather
Comments:
Did an extensive warm up and eventually started the 400. I started the first 100 at a comfortable pace but ended up going too slow. On the second 100, i tried to keep the pace and didnt feel really tired until the the end of the 200. On the 250 i started to pick up the pace for my kick and by this time i rlly felt the pain. I finished the last 100 strong and didnt start to stumble like i normally do at the last 100 of a 400. I finished at a time of 54.8 without blocks or competition. I felt surprisingly good when i finished, but was kind of unhappy about my time and my goal is to break 53 for track season. It was nice to see where i was at and finally run a 400 fresh and seriously.
