10 Mile 3x3

Comments:
This is long and taxing so please do it on day that suits best

Warm up 1 mile easy

3X3 workout with warm up/cool down
3:30 minute rest in-between
1st 3M Avg:6:16 per mile
2nd 3M Avg:6:22 per mile
3rd 3M Avg:6:22 per mile
Run 3x 3 miles at tempo pace.

Take a complete 3 to 4 min rest in between each

This is an elite workout and a staple when it comes to marathon.

The idea is to run each 3 miler at a comfortably hard steady effort.
It can be over hills or flat is fine too.

I would start at low to mid 6 pace and see if you can maintain all 3 long intervals from there!
