Crime Scene interrupted

June 12, 2023 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 80s and very humid

Comments:
After a staff week day of sitting in my air conditioned HS office, I ran solo to AU to meet the sprinters and oversee their 3x150 workout for nearly an hour. Still not clear how it can take so long to run so little. Felt very slow and lethargic on the run to AU (11 minutes). Eventually bid them farewll and ran Crime Scene loop with the added spur of going to BK trail to MacArthur and back. I loosened up some and even focused in on form and stride at times over the last mile+. (passed Alex Ashbrook on the trail) Last half mile was even at 7:15 pace or so, but I never felt good and I spent a lot of time lost in self-pitying thoughts. Humidity was very unpleasant and it reminded me how lucky we've been with the lack of that all spring.
