Canal with JB and Sage

Comments:
Drove to park on Potomac Ave near Arizona Ave. Walked down the steep trail to the Crescent. Ran up towpath for three miles and double back, dropping JB at the graffiti bridge. Extended down and back another mile each way with Sage. First two and last mile were in the 9 min range. Middle 5 were around 8:30, although there was a fair bit of yo-yo pacing. Nice to get the longer effort. Although the pace was very controlled, it felt tiring as Time on feet still adds up and running slowly can tax in unusual ways. Afternoon minimester was neat with a visit to Sophie's farm and Jaleo and Jose's R and D kitchen. Dirt's book talk at night and a reception at Lowell St after that.
