Comments:
As expected a small, but dedicated turnout at practice. 3 sprinters and 3 distance runners, plus Charlie Baar. Started with Glover, sending Jake Jameson up New Mexico and back to school. Turned towards Crime Scene Loop, but extended down upper Glover trails to Colonial Village and past the old LMS onto the Potomac Overlook Trail with Ollie A-F and Andrew Bennett (and Klondike). Came up through BK and back along Nebraska (Bandrew extending to snag an extra mile.) It was great to get so many trails and to introduce them to the young ones. I was feeling the uphills and general trail fatigue, and it felt like a long run by the end. Glad to be continuing this streak of quality runs. last mile from Ward was 7:30 and the distance might have been approaching 8.3 miles.
