Scoping out the AU track

Weather: 70s, low humidity

Comments:
Started north into Chevy Chase, but then decided this would be a good time to check the status of the track and it's adjacent construction. Western and 46th brought me to University Ave and some views through the back fence. Little had changed and the signs stating that the track would re-open August 31 seem aspirational at best. Ran near the fence line in the seminary grounds (falling on my face in the mud at one point). explored a back way through the Katzen Arts Center and finished up down Nebraska, Wisc, and 41st, pausing only to chat with Mark and Finn near Bandit. Tag me Finn Berenson. Wasn't moving fast at any point, but felt decent for a solo summer run the day after some pick-ups. Glad I got myself out on this relatively pleasant, mild morning. Last mile was 7:58.
