Comments:
Tried running without the custom orthotics. Hurt during warmup, so I had second thoughts, but didn't hurt during race. I think I'm going to wear orthotics for training, but maybe not for races or workouts. Race was a whole mile, so 1609.344 m. PR'd by 9 seconds, but I feel like I can do better.
