unintentional workout

Weather: 48 at dawn

Didn't learn my lesson the first time. Woke at 5:45 and met up with Sam McFerran and the Cardozo Crawlers at 6:20 (via car) in Woodley Park. Stood for 15 minutes :( and then jogged two minutes before starting 4x4minute intervals with 2 minute recoveries. A little warm-up would have been nice. Why I was repeating a less focused version of Wednesday's workout I have no idea. Still, there I was and so I hung on for the first one. pushed the second with a younger JMU stud. cruised with the Professor for the third, and halfheartedly hung on for the first 2 minutes of the fourth with the JMU (Ted?) guy. Four minute recovery jog back to the car and drove with no stretching back home. Strangely, I've felt tightness in my hamstrings all day. I wonder why??? I expect I'll be dragging Friday, yet I'm leaning toward racing the Manna 5km on Saturday. Email me anyone if you are interested...
