Exercise Type: Run
Weather: Mixed bag of crap.
Comments:
I had to lead the 4x800 today. Sat on my kid for a first lap of 1:15, then burned him with an easy 1:07. I was feeling great and felt like I could've run 2:10 if I had too. We won easily, as my gap increased with Dugan, Hoover, then John.
My stomach felt bad only after the 4x800 and I told Kell I was gonna sit out the 1600 hoping it would feel better by the 3200.
The 3200 came and I felt like poop. I warmed up a bit and started to feel better. The race started and I sat on their best kid for awhile. We went through the mile in 5:50 and I felt perfectly fine, ready to make a big negative split. With 2 laps to go I was looking to take him. All the sudden I was in the inside of the track puking. Everyone passed me as about 2 minutes of junk left my body through my mouth. I ended up looking up and feeling good but everyone was long gone. I finished the race anyway feeling fine yet jogging for my cooldown.
Lightning struck right after that and we went home with an easy win.
