Comments:
Aaron was pacing me on my final run of the season. 2 of Aaron's teammates came as well. We had a nice easy warmup through the course. We decided on a pace of 1:25 per lap for most of the race until I felt ready to go. We were hitting 1:24-1:25 through the first 6 laps and I felt pretty good. In lap 7 I completely lost focus, my breathing went bad, my stride shortened, and worst of all my stomach went bad. I wanted to quit, but Aaron kept me in it. I stopped getting splits and just did whatever I could to finish. Decent 5k I guess, not near what I wanted but I probably wasn't as prepared as I thought I was.
