Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Warm and sunny

Comments:
Unusually late run; it was cooler than normal since my arrival at AA.

Route: tower to Hot Pits sign, left down hill to 4-way, right down hill into construction area, left a couple hundred yards to "ground guide required" sign; back up hill to Hot Pits sign, left down hill past generator farm to next intersection (stop sign), back up hill and left to tower.

Didn't take GPS, nor water--Ugandan guard gave me water at checkpoint at/about mile 3. Experimented w/run-walk-run method. Starting ~1.5 miles, repeated (roughly) 4:30 running then 45 sec walking.

Distance is estimated, time exact--need to measure the course. This is probably the last "logn" run prior to the 1/2 marathon in four days.
