Hill Workout at Eagle Island

Weather: very hot

Ugh. That pretty much sums it up right there. I was only going to run 4 out of the 6, but by the third one, a sharp pain was being felt in my ankle. I told Brice and he told me to stop and go stick my foot in the water.

Here's what I'm thinking Coach. I WANT to go to state. I need to run the race of my life at districts. I need my ankle to be back in working condition by this time. I'm not sure what that could cost me. But whatever that is, I'm willing to do it.

I'm going to start taking aspirin, and see how much that helps. I've been icing like crazy, and it doesn't seem to be doing much. Thats ok though. My ankle will heal and I'll be able to kill myself running at districts. Thats the plan.

Also, I've been doing that workout of abs and arms every single night. I feel that this has helped my running and endurance and aerobic capacity. If you have any other tips as to what I could also be doing, let me know.
