Weather: low 80s? and decent

Comments:
Maybe a half mile of interrupted jogging and drills. Pretty distracted before race. Got out well and felt surprisingly loose and unaware of knees. tried hard not to become comfortable and having so many familiar faces around helped me stay focused. Gained confidence throughout and enjoyed the shifting lead changes. Pulled ahead with maybe 800m to go and lost lead with 200 to go to a strong kicking Mustang. Very satisfied with the fastest Alumni 2 miler I've ever run and a nearly 30 second improvement from last year. NO COOLDOWN... Brutal. 10:41 (5:27, 5:13)
