Hour long bike workout

Comments:
After watching everyone run at firman, I realized that they would all surpass me if I failed to work harder than them. My new goal is to try to work harder on the bike than I would have had I been at practice.

To ensure my long bike workouts remain beneficial to me, every five minutes or so I will go very hard for about 60 seconds. This keeps my heart rate up and really works out my legs.

Also on the bike I can focus on my train of thought. PPT as Brice would say. As I bike, I envision myself running a race. When the clock shows a short amount of time left for my workout, I envision myself 100 meters from the finish, with a bunch of people ahead of me. One by one I pass them, until there is only one left. This last one stays ahead of me until I catch him and run neck and neck with him. As my workout concludes I envision myself blowing past him, diving forward and beating him!

The Power of Positive Thinking. It keeps me going and constantly reminds of my goal. My goal of going to State.
