I'm back! I apologize for the neglect that I have shown towards this log, and I hope to maintain it and keep it current throughout the season until the upcoming state championship.

I am ready to run my heart out wednesday, and get back my varsity spot. In reality, the situation for this race (no JV or Varsity separation) is the best thing that could have happened. Now I can stick with who I know I have to beat and then beat them. My goal for this upcoming race is to beat...Everyone! It won't be easy, but I know that after four years of running these races, I can pull it all out and lay it on he line here. In reality, this is like the playoffs. Make it past the first selection, and move on to the next round. I will now begin to completely focus on this race and dominate when the time comes.

In other words, I'm eating healthier and trying to keep up my carb intake, and also increase my iron intake as well. If I continue to focus on the little things, and making small goals for myself in-race, my goal will be accomplished and I will be able to move past the wild-card round and into the division district playoffs! (And after that, CHAMPIONSHIP!)
