Milers on Judgement Day

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
I was annoyed that coach didnt give us any information today but a call from Russ at 3:30 revealed that we had practice on the other side at 4:30. Did a 3 mile warm up with the team and then stretched at the indoor track while the SMDs did their 400 repeats. We proceeded to run the mile warmup loop five times at tempo pace with one minute rest in between each. I was told to run 5:20s with Sample while Flach and Evans did 5:13s. We ran as a four man pack the whole workout. Our times were:

I felt relaxed the entire time. This was a great workout for me and I was extra pumped to see everyone else doing so well also. Bernitt and Layle look to be back in full as they were 5:20 and below on all repeats. Russ stepped up big today as did Molloy and Knouse. The distance squad is looking very strong. Afterwards we witnessed our #12 wrestling team take down the top team in the country, Cornell, in a nail biter. I am so amped right now.
