Exercise Type: Run
Weather: Nice until the end
Comments:
So the weather was nice when we first started--a cool breeze and warmish temperature--so we all decided to go shirtless. We were a little into the run at that point, so while Thomas and Henry carried their shirts with them, Sam and I left our sweatshirts and t-shirts next the the road. We figured that when we came out of Woodville we'd just take a right and get our shirts before returning to the school. Well we made it to the clothes, which were wet because the snow we had put them on had melted. But right as we started running back, the wind began picking up. Not soon after, it began SNOWING quite hard. The wind became really powerful, and we had to run into it with the snow blowing into our eyes. We couldn't put our shirts on since they were wet, so we had to run back to the school as it snowed the hardest I've seen in a while (It wasn't a lot of snow, nor was it accumulating, but the speed of the wind made it so painful). We finally got back after a painful stretch on the bus loop where we were running into it (it was insane: I was basically sprinting at the end, but I was barely going 8 minute pace.)
Anyway, that sucked. Also I think I got the distance wrong, since I doubt we went that fast, but every time I map it out it comes out to that distance. I probably got the spot where we went to retrieve our shirts wrong, but there's nothing I can do to fix that.
