LSR 10 Miler

Weather: 35, sunny, light breeze

Comments:
Nervous at start since haven't run this long in almost 3 months. Took execd and waited for yogurt & granola to digest before heading out. Right away felt pretty good, no soreness or tightness from yesterdays faster running. Pace was going pretty fast without trying and most miles close to 9 flat. Tried new fuel tactic of eating mini snickers at mile 7 and it must have worked cause mile 8 was fastest at 8:59 which is insane for long run! Last mile started to feel fatigue but overall a fab run for this distance. Felt easy, light and bouncy most of the time and love the long loop to Bradford St. Did the foam, stretched and ice bath and finished with compr sox.
