Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Today's workout was a great one. I really think that I am getting back into running at full boar. We had a 600, 4x400, 3x300, and 4x200. After a three mile warmup, coach told us the times that we were to hit and my heart immediately sank. My legs hurt today and I did not think I could hit the paces that I was given. I was given:
600 at 1:37 with 800 jog recovery
4x400 at 65 with 400 jog recovery
4x300 at 48 with 400 jog recovery
4x200 at 32 with 400 jog recovery
Flach and i went out in 30 low for the forst 200 of the six, and I made a conscious effort to slow down afterwards. I felt surprisingly relaxed, and I came through in exactly 1:37. The 400s were done with the smds in a big group so it was easier to stay motivated. Times I hit were:

The 300s felt even easier than the 400s did, and my times were:

Finally the 200s. I knew that these were going to be fast and at this point I didn't think that I could run much faster. I hit:

On the last one I dropped my head for the final straight to finish fast, but I felt my legs lock up. I hit the wall on that one but still managed to finish fine I guess. Did a two mile cooldown and iced down with Russ and Ty before hitting Upper UC at Pandinis with the boys and then going to see Kyle Cease in Packard 101. Man that Labretti was good. And man that guy is funny as shit.
